Resentment monster..
This piece mirrors all these paintings put together and more.
When we don’t communicate our feelings they grow.
They grow to the point that they eat us up from the inside, similar to the way an anaconda devour it’s pray, our distress devours us.
It can make us act out, get us angry and confused, even scared and vulnerable.
Making us forget about the light and loose contact with our reasonable responses.
This is my centrepiece for this collection and it represents the source, conclusion and result of what all of these emotions might do to us if we don’t deal with them in a healthy way, If we don’t search for help. But help from others rarely solves the situation. It’s always up to you.

Why are there still some feelings that we are ashamed to talk about?
Like jealousy, loneliness, hate and aggression. They are unattractive, yes.
But we all feel them at some point in all ages.
They can’t be put in a box and stored away. The young and beautiful are never lonely.
A kid with everything at home shouldn’t feel the need to steel.
And a 90 year old can’t long for love and affection.
When we have unattractive feelings or feelings that are not considered appropriate by ourselves to have, we are taught to hide them away.
These are the results.
