Shipping Policy
The sale and delivery of all art sold on zeitgeist.art is governed by agreement terms between the buyer and the seller. It is primarily the seller who is responsible for the delivery and any other commitments that may arise during the transfer. The seller is ultimately accountable to the buyer for any complaints or issues.
Zeitgeist.art has no other role than to be a platform where individual artists can promote and sell their art, and does not function as an intermediary or facilitator in the transfer of artworks. The sale of all art on zeitgeist.art takes place directly between the buyer and the seller.
For buyers
At zeitgeist.art we aim to connect you with artists. As each seller operates independently, they are responsible for handling the sale and shipping of their artwork. Consequently, shipping times and costs may vary based on the seller’s policies and location.
Shipping Times:
Shipping times are determined by the individual seller and can vary depending on several factors, including:
- The seller’s location
- The destination address
- The shipping method selected by the seller
- Average shipping time, depending on the chosen third party.
For specific information regarding estimated shipping times or methods, please reach out to the seller directly.
Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are set by the individual seller and can vary based on:
- The weight and dimensions of the package
- The shipping method chosen
- The destination address
The total shipping cost will be calculated and displayed during the checkout process or included in the price of the artwork.

Tracking and Delivery:
Sellers may provide tracking information once your order has been shipped. You can track your order using the tracking number provided by the seller. If tracking information is not available or if you encounter any issues with delivery, please contact the seller directly for assistance.
Returns:
If you wish to return a purchase, please contact the seller directly as each seller has their own return policy. For any unresolved issues, you can also reach out to our customer support team at hello@zeitgeist.art for further assistance.
For Sellers/Artists
You choose the terms for shipping your artwork in the shipping settings.
Your shipping settings are preset, so you don’t need to change anything. However, if you want to add additional shipping costs, specify certain conditions, indicate processing times, or choose specific countries to ship to, you can easily do so here.
Note: if you do not configure these settings, your products will be sold including shipping costs by default. We recommend that you do this for sales within your country as this is common practice among most galleries.
You can also set specific shipping rates for each country or choose a price for “Other countries” at the bottom of the shipping page.
Calculating Shipping Costs:

- Choose a city as far away from you as possible to be on the safe side.
Customers always have the option “Pick up in person” at checkout, so local buyers can collect the product directly from you.
