The main idea of this picture is binarity/dualism of human existence. Something anxious is happening over the falling asleep peaceful city, cold moonlight and warm light of human habitation, anxiety and peace, all of this collides, interacts, and at the same time is opposed to each other through (not apparent) contrasts.
