I guess everything I paint is also a reflection of myself as the painter, the creator and the viewer. Even if I paint a lemon (I actually love doing this), it is partly a self portrait. It is my impression of a lemon, my expression and my temperament. So I will probably continue with more self portraits after this first ”Portrait of another self I – Burning Man”, since the idea is now planted and growing in the back of my mind. A freer way of looking at yourself and the different things that makes you you.
