Mixed Media on Canvas (acrylic paint and water-based paint markers)

With this painting, I started with fingerpainting many layers of the background. Fingerpainting is a beautiful experience of letting go and enjoying the tactile experience of putting the paint directly from your hands onto the canvas. I usually zone in with music and let my hands go where they want to.

After the paint has dried, I drew one line drawings with posca pens of abstracted people on top, enjoying life and dancing. When doing the one-line drawings, I do not allow my hand to pick up the pen so it is one continuous line.
