This painting is my first automatic painting which I late realized was actually a self-portrait. ​After and during exploring the diptych of the connectedness of the world, I began with this automatic painting to relieve frustration. Also known as surrealist automatism, I allowed my unconscious mind to paint without consciously thinking about what I was painting. After I was done automatic painting, I later went back in and rendered the painting.
